Filipstad, Oslo, Norway

An alternative plan for the Filipstad area in Oslo.

The first planning workshop (charrette) was organized in 2012. Many parties were invited: architects, urban planners, several assosiations, local residents and students. After gathering all the informations, first sketches were drawn. After establishing first proposal the 3d model was made. I worked on creating the 3d model of the whole project with flyover and sections which developed with many changes over several years.

Project was a contra design to already accepted project which did not offer the best potential for the area. The aim was to create much greener plan with reacreation areas and good acces to the fjord. At the same time offering a good density with various types of buildings, integrated harbour and termial area and partly underground infrastructure.
